December Daily 2013, Days 1 – 4

paislee-DYD2013-6150

December Daily album in progress. I can hardly believe that I’m actually working on it in December. What a novel concept. I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep at it through the end of the month. If I don’t, it’s ok because the only goal I set for myself this month is to take a photo at least once a day, then work on the pages as time permits.

Day One – Photobooth(ish) series.

I’m trying to incorporate more journaling this year. For Day one it seemed appropriate to ask them what they’re most looking forward to in December and I was quite surprised by their answers.

Day 2 – We celebrated Eric’s birthday.

Day 3 – Today we received our first holiday card of the season and the envelope is going into the album!

Day 4 – I went to Target to pick up a pack of photo paper and ended up coming with…a lot more than office supplies. These gilded pinecones for one.  Did I mention that they’re shatterproof?  Perfect for households with little ones.

Keeping things super simple. How’s your album coming along?

Supplies used: December You are a Fave No. 2, Press Plate No. 39, American Crafts POW Glitter paper and other supplies leftover from my 2011 DD project.

Liz! Your pages are so beautiful, simple + inspiring. I’ve been in holiday-card-craziness for the last week – no blogs, no Pinterest, etc. – but this morning I finally opened up my Bloglovin feed and saw this post. It was the perfect start to the day 🙂 Thanks for sharing and well done on getting started!

I can imagine, this must be the busiest time of the year for you! Hope things slow down as the holidays near. Looking forward to seeing your DD pages 🙂

Love them! I’ve been using your digital files for my December Daily. Love them! You can see some of them used here: http://www.table-for-five.com/december-daily-day-07-and-08/

Oh Michelle. Your pages are STUNNING. I love that you used a patterned paper for the “cheer” cut file! Gorgeous work as always. Thank you for sharing!

Your DDs are always my favourite.

You are my fave. 🙂

Gorgeous Liz!!! If I ever did DD, I want it to look like yours! 🙂
Do you print on both sides of the paper?

And if you did DD (maybe next year??) I KNOW I’d want mine to look like YOURS! Not printing on both sides of the paper. I adhere the pages with double sided tape before putting them in the album. The double thickness makes for sturdier pages. 🙂

I love your style! It’s so pure and beautiful.

Hi Liz!
I always love everything that you do… so awesome.
I’m wondering if you can tell me which printer you use for photos and printables?
Thanks so much.
