Spring Break Traveler’s Notebook

I’ve shared a few pages from our Spring Break 2017 TN on instagram and wanted to share the album in its entirety here. Well, what I have completed so far. I’m a few pages short from finishing.

Started off the album with a map of the places and things we did over Spring Break: A Dodger game, Disneyland, Las Vegas, Zion National Park and Scottsdale. If this sounds like a lot to squeeze into a week’s time, our original plan included stops at the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Overly ambitious and unrealistic, I know. The adventure template is from Travelogue.

Day 1 | The girls’ first baseball game.

Day 2 | Disneyland is always a good time. We’re fortunate to live in SoCal and get to visit often with our annual passes. For this trip I chose to document our current Disneyland favorites: the food and our favorite attraction/ride. We always take a selfie on the tram ride from the parking lot to the main entrance so I included that as well, along with a bunch of other selfies taken throughout the day.

Day 3 | Las Vegas was more of a pitstop than a destination. We chose to stay here instead of at Zion because the food choices are better. In retrospect, it wasn’t the wisest of choices. The 4+ hours drive from LV to Zion and back was taxing and time consuming. But…no regrets! We had an amazing dinner at Yardbird. This layout design is available as a template in Travelogue.

We have a tradition of taking a family selfie at the Palazzo.

Day 4 | Day trip to Zion. So many picturesque moments and breathtaking views. None of the photos we took does this place justice. The one photo that came closest to capturing the grandeur of Zion was given a full 2 page spread.

(The next two layout designs are also available as a template in Travelogue.)

Day 5 | Arizona bound. We stopped at a little breakfast joint in downtown LV before heading on the road for Scottsdale, Arizona.

A full photo spread to signify the beginning of our Arizona adventures.

This flip up tag holds the QR code for the video of our golf cart ride to dinner.  The Happy Place Stamp is from Tour Guide.

Day 6 | We spent the entire day at the pool and it was heaven. The poolside all day stamp Summer Vibes Elements Set.
