project life | week 2 and 3

Got a chance to catch up on project life over the weekend and I’m happy to finally have weeks 2 and 3 completed. Didn’t take too many photos in January so I was able to easily fit both weeks into a 2 page spread.

This was one of those instagram-ed moments – by orders from Audrey no less. I’m sure she knows I would have done it anyways. The girls have looked at our project life album enough times now to know that a lot of the things they say will end up being photographed and put in this album.

Madeline’s been drawing circles been doing them for months now – filling up entire pages of big and bold circles. And then one day, the circles took the form of a face.

They did a lot of drawing this week so there are 2 8.5×11 inserts. I just noticed that I didn’t label the drawings here.  Will have to go back and add those in later.

(above) Audrey drew this picture of me. When she showed it to me she explained to me why I was smiling in the picture: You were happy. it’s because I came out of your tummy.  I printed that out on a 3×4 grid card and stuck it on the page protector.

I’m glad she knows how happy she makes us.

The last thing I added to this week’s entry is a list of words that Madeline says frequently – it’s an easy filler and months from now, it’s content that I will be glad I got down when I did.

LOVE every single bit of it!!

Love the little card with Maddie’s pronunciations! I really need to do that. 🙂

Your Project Life is so inspiring! What type of paper do you like to print with for it?

Thanks Carrie! For the journaling, I typically use Becky Higgins 3×4 grid cards and white cardstock from joann’s or paper source.

Your album is so nice! I enjoy avery little bit of it. A lot of content to pin. 😀

[…] The 3×4 card with Kylie’s pronunciations on the right is an idea I got from Paislee Press’s Project Life.  The card design is from the Picture This Journal Blocks by Designs by Anna & Kitty […]
