Lucie here with another idea how to decorate your home using Liz’s designs, in this case word art. Liz’s handwritten quotes are so beautiful (and true) I wanted to use some in other places beside my album. Somewhere, I can see it everyday. Pillow case seemed as just the perfect place.

I bought special papers (T-shirt Transfers from Cannon in my case) and used my home inkjet printer to print the quote. There is just one very important thing to remember when printing quotes and word art. You need to flip it horizontally (I used illustrator – transform and then choose mirror and then horizontally). Otherwise it will be mirrored after transfer on the pillow (and yes, I did it wrong the first time, so I know 😉 ).

After printing, follow the ironing instructions. They are very detailed which may look quite difficult, but it’s not. It takes just few minutes including the cooling down. Then you peel of the paper and it’s done. It can be even washed in a washing machine (delicate program) and ironed (inside out).

I think I will be back later with some more home decorating ideas, I can’t get enough :).
