Super excited to have a few December Daily pages ready to share. This is the first year I’m using pocket pages and already, I’m finding it easier to keep up with. Here’s what I have so far.
The cover is still a work in progress but I like simple covers and the only thing I need to add here is the year. The “december” is a stamp from the 4×6 Stamp Set set I designed. Stamp ink pad is versamark and I used this gold embossing powder by Ranger Inks.
DAY 1 – Today is all about the arrival of their elf, Pip. Included is a note from him explaining why he didn’t arrive in the morning in time to greet them before school. This layout is almost done. If I can find a big white chipboard number one, I’ll add that to the pocket with the red stripes.
DAY 2– Sharing two stories today.
1st, I included a photo of the stamp set I designed along with a little note about being a designer for this year’s December Daily, totally a dream come true.
2nd, we celebrated my husband’s birthday. I created a photobooth strip insert and added it to a 3×8 pocket protector. I like the way it looks floating and will probably secure it with the photo fuse tool. I might come back and add a “happy birthday” label as well.
On the flip side of the photo strip I added white cardstock then stamped and embossed the “note to self” in gold (the stamp is in Ali Edward’s 2016 One Little Word Mini Kit.)
DAY 3 – I’m having so much fun with stamping and embossing. The holiday tradition and date were stamped and embossed in gold (stamps from my 4×6 Stamp Set for December Daily). Originally, I intended to use it as a journaling card but ended up adding the journaling to the photo insert at the bottom right instead. I finished off the page with a big number 3 (from Pink Paislee Yuletide Countdown Number Set). The buffalo plaid journal card is from the December Daily® Mini Kit I designed.
Here’s what Day 2 and 3 look like together.
I will be posting my album making progress on Instagram, follow me @liztamanaha.
