I don’t know what it is about summer, but I always get an itch to make a mini album. Maybe because these projects are quick and fun and can easily be completed in a few hours, leaving the rest of the day to do other things like going to the beach or lounging by the pool…or trying a new ice cream shop.
Today I’m sharing a super fun mini album by creative team member Mira Jurecka. Here’s what she had to say about the making of this mini:
Summer 2016 is special for my Family for a few reasons. One of them is because my nephew Oliver was visiting us and it was our very first time of staying together longer than one day. I consider myself to be Oliver’s best auntie (
) so I wanted his stay to be really entertaining! I planned a few attractions that I knew He would extremely enjoy. And one thing that he loves doing with me is playing with craft supplies! YEP! I didn’t made it up! He always ask me to create some cards or other paper projects! We do it very often and he always ask for more and more! So this time I asked if he’d like to take some silly pictures of the two of us, print them and create two mini albums. He was really excited to give it a try, so we did it!
As a project for a 9-year-old boy I wanted to make it easy, so he would be happy to start and actually finish the album. I knew that the best and easiest way to compliment our faces would be by putting them in some kind of frames, and when I accidentally spotted these gallery frames no. 5 in Paislee Press Store I knew they were perfect for our purpose! And they made our creative process a fun!tastic child’s play!
