Hello lovelies. It’s Caylee here with some wrapping paper encouragement. I’ve been pretty disappointed with the choices of paper available this festive season, and so I simply made my own. It’s easy. And pretty.
Google your favourite box and envelope template and search the images. I used this box template and this envelope template. Bring those into Photoshop or your fave editing program and resize to the size of your page. You don’t need to worry about the quality of the template diminishing as you enlarge it since it’s simply there to tell you where to cut. Add your favourite digital stamps and embellishments. For the box, I didn’t worry about the fact that some of the writing would be upside down when I put it together, but if you’re worried about that, change the orientation of the text in certain boxes. Print them out.
Cut them up.
Fold and glue.
And put them together!
I told you it was easy! I used kraft paper and plain black ink to make it minimalist, then I added a sprig from our Christmas tree and some baker’s twine to glitz it up.
Happy 2016 and have a wonderful new year!
