Caylee checking in, and today I’m sharing a simple Project Life page with loads of glorious vellum.

It’s a spread documenting breakfast, my favourite meal of the day. Apparently a meal that I love enough to make an entire two page Project Life layout about. Not only does it have a vellum pocket, but it also has a vellum insert with a light flower background and word art. It softens things beautifully and I’m obsessed with it as much as breakfast.

Here’s how it looks sans vellum.

Boring right? Vellum is far too much fun to say no to.

I love it over brighter backgrounds to get them looking softer instead of “washed out” with an opacity setting. That’s the beauty of digital products is that you get to control them a little. I totally encourage you to make something incorporating the stuff today.
