We took the girls hiking this past weekend. It was a first for them and they had a blast!
The trail is an easy 30 minute walk that takes you to a 30 foot waterfall. Not exactly gushing because of the drought we’re in. But a pretty spectacular sight nonetheless, especially considering the closest thing they’ve seen to a waterfall is the Splash Mountain ride at Disneyland. I’m still regretting that we didn’t take the girls to see a few waterfalls when we were in Oahu last year. Next time for sure.
I’m glad I brought the big camera along for this excursion. I’ve got photos that I can’t wait to scrapbook and man that feels good. It’s been way too long.
