This is the week of April 16 – 22nd. It’s another super simple spread with an 8.5×11 insert.
I feel like I’m back in my element again, focusing on photos, embellishing with kraft paper and white cardstock.
My dear Madeline. This girl can throw an epic meltdown like no other. This particular episode we got on video. Added the see video archives notation as a reminder of that. One day, years from now, we’ll replay these moments and laugh about it together. Right now we’re just trying to survive the era of the terrible twos. The journaling card is a new release in my shop, press cards no. 16.
Right now. I used press cards no. 1 here.
The release of mini masterpieces was a big moment for me so I printed this out as an 8×10.
The back side notes the week, April 16 – 22nd.
We attended a wedding that Saturday. I included the map/directions insert that was included in the wedding invitation. Still thoroughly obsessed with maps.
The “Saturday” journaling card is from press cards no. 2.

Hi there – its me again, rambling about my inadequacies of keeping up with journaling! As you know, I’m tempted by the idea of ProjectLife, I love your simple minimal cards (right up my street :o) … I just wondered how you print them, do you print on A4 paper and them trim to size? … and do you add text in Photoshop or do you use stamp tools? .. Thank you again for any advice (you have turned into my journaling agony aunt!!!) x
Hi Emma,
I print directly on 3×4 cards, details on my method can be found in this post: http://paisleepress.com/2011/08/project-life-how-to-print/
Text is added in photoshop, and occasionally I will use stamps to embellish the card.
Thank you :o)
Just gorgeous Liz! I love super simple spreads like these. In fact, I think all of my spreads are like this. Part laziness, part penchance for simplicity.

Ronnie,
I absolutely ADORE your project life, your photos are amazing and the way you mix in journaling and text is killer. Simplicity at its finest.
Liz,
Your kind words have totally made my day. Thank you!
I have such great admiration for your work and often come here for inspiration! 🙂

[…] on my hard drive. Completely separate from the photos. When I saw Liz of Paislee Press include a video archive in her Project Life, I instantly knew I’d be adding these regularly to my layouts. I intent to burn all the […]
I know I am coming back to an old post, but I heard your use of a “video archive” mentioned on another blog. I am wondering if you would share how you set this up. Do you just add a DVD at the end of every year? I am trying to be better about merging our videos with photos. As of right now, they just end up sitting on my hard drive.
