STREAMLINING THE PRINTING PROCESS // MARCY PENNER

paislee-press-september-2016My internet is known to be somewhat fickle.  (Thank you country living)  So when it does decide to cooperate I try to prepare a bunch of digital items to print at a time.  Whether you have awesome internet or not, printing a bunch of items at once saves time and paper.

Today I wanted to get a few things ready that I could use in my travelers notebook.  One thing I enjoy using in my notebook is patterned paper… especially for full page spreads.  By cropping a patterned paper pattern to 4.25×8.25 it is the perfect size for my notebook and ready to go.  You could certainly just print a full pattern but I like the idea of not wasting my ink.  And this way I can get two patterns on a page.

Another thing I enjoy doing is printing out a bunch of the word elements and using them like die-cuts.  Here I printed out a bunch of digital stamps from Week at a Glance and fit them all on a page.  I also cropped off the square around the “reminder” element and placed it on a 3×4 box so that I had some journaling cards as well.

By printing off a bunch of items at a time I am ready for a crafty afternoon (if and when that comes around).
