picks from the press gallery | july and august edition

Hello there! Kelly here bringing you the July and August edition of the picks from the press gallery.  I don’t know about you but for us it was a whirl-wind summer and I can’t believe it’s already September! But the kids are back in school which means I have time again to peruse the paislee press gallery and instagram looking for new and inspiring projects and layouts.  I love what I am seeing and can’t wait to share them with you!

The first layout that I would like to share is Right Now by ChantalK.  She used pictures + words no. 15, On My Desk, Make Believe, and Sunny Days Ahead to create this lovely layout.    I love the clean design here but what really caught my eye was her fantastic shadowing that makes the whole layout look as though it is a paper layout. I love that!

Up next is a month in review layout by jive_kewl.  As usual I love everything about this layout from her. I really like the way she used the pops of yellow papers from the Say Yes To kit against the white background.  And I love how it all coordinates with the yellows in the photographs.

This next layout is by liahra called morning things to do and was created using In Progress.  Wonderful use of white space here and I love the clustering around the photograph.

Next I would like to share a project life spread that I found on instagram by twopartssilly.  She used Woodgrain Journaling Cards, Brightside, and Say Yes To  to create her spread.  I really love the blues throughout the spread and her photographs are really wonderful!

Here’s another layout that we found on instagram by meandmybutton that was created with From Where I Stand.  Seriously, where do I even start with this layout!?  I love so many things like the pops of pinks and yellows  as well as the clean and modern design. And her photographs are really adorable!   Just perfect!

Finally we have a project by pepperandtwine that I am really excited to share.  She used elements from Magic hour, Say Yes To, His and Hers,  and Sunny Days Ahead along with her cameo to create stickers for her journal and planner. I thought this was a brilliant idea and I really love how they turned out!!

That’s it for this edition and I hope you loved these picks as much as I did! And as always we would love to see what you’ve created with your paislee press products.  We encourage you to post your layouts at the paislee press gallery or to on instagram with the hashtag #paisleepress.  Thanks for looking and we’ll see you next time!
