Here.

Right now I’m thinking about things I want to do around the house. Some are things already in progress (shelving is going up), some are things slated for “one day” down the road (removing popcorn ceiling), and some things are on hold until inspiration strikes (hanging wall art).

We were here. In our quest to find the best burger in LA, we ended up at a quaint little dive called Escondite.  I ordered a burger called the Capt Kangaroo – a burger with a fried egg, hash browns, cheese, bacon and gravy.  It was obnoxious yet surprisingly tasty. And in case you’re wondering, yes you do feel like you’ve eaten two meals in one. I was stuffed for days.

Okay, so you just pushed me to finish the “projects” that my hubby and I started around our house!!! Speaking of wall art–I’ve got thousands of photos (nothing framed) that need to go up and around our humble abode! Oh, but what melted my heart was the Madeline book. Enjoy your day. ~rose

Good luck with your projects Rose. 🙂

Wall art is so hard, we moved house 8 months ago and I still haven’t got the nerve to put anything up on the wall yet – its so silly really, I don’t want to make a mistake and put any holes in the walls in case I change my mind … what’s the worst that can happen, I just have to fill them and repaint, which I want to do anyway!!! I may just have talked myself into doing that job this weekend!
Have a good day :o)

You may already know this but some popcorn ceiling contains asbestos! Not all popcorn does, it depends on when the house was built. Just want you to be careful if you ever tackle that project!

Love this post! Would you mind sharing the names of the two fonts you used on your photos? Thanks and good luck w your projects!

Thanks Suzanne, I’ve been able to cross some of those things off my list already. The font I used is helvetica neue. The “here” is my own handwriting.

thank you very much.
