Hello Monday, hello friends. I’m trying to get back to blogging my project life entries on a more regular basis. This week is probably one of my favorites, partly content related and partly because it came together so quickly. Sometimes I spend more time than I care to admit deciding which photos are going to go into each sleeve, especially when I’m printing 2 photos on a 4×6 card. This week I simply went through the photos for the week, picked my favorites and sent them to costco for printing. Quick and easy. It was awesome.
All the photos this week were taken with my iphone. Most of the photos in this year’s project life album, actually, are iphone photos. My DSLR broke earlier this year and I just recently go it back. I’d been without it for so long, I’ve gotten out of the habit of reaching for it. I need to re-train myself to start using it regularly again.
Something new this week – I grabbed these photos (they were both in the middle of meltdowns) from my husband’s iphone. I like having his perspective in this album, especially because the moments he captures are so different from mine. The striped journaling card is from press cards no. 10. I need to come back to this to add the journaling.
I have been wanting to use a map to document a trip since I saw THIS on pinterest a few months ago. I generated the map with the route to vegas from google, printed labels to mark the cities we were coming from and adhered it to kraft cardstock.
I spent three days in vegas with my girlfriends. It was amazing. I blogged about it here, and already made a photobook of our trip (you can see it here). I chose to just showcase some of my favorite moments from the weekend.
Love this POW paper by American Crafts so so much. Just added a date label here to tie this back to the map.

I am currently working on this year year’s PL with an amber kit and last years PL with a cobalt kit with a clementine binder. I love this system and know I will be using it for years to come because at almost 60 years old we are in the process of adopting a four year old boy and his three year old sister.
