December at Songbird Avenue

I meant to get this post up on Tuesday but craziness got in the way of my plans. 🙂

First, I am so very thrilled to announce that Jan, the co-founder of Songbird Avenue invited me to join the team as their marketing director and I very happily accepted. Thank you Jan for this extraordinary opportunity. You can read more about how this all came about here and here.

Second, I am excited to be the guest designer at Songbird Avenue this month!! The kit is called Recollection and proceeds of the kit sales (minus paypal fees) will be donated to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.

wow. If this kit and the layouts below aren't enough to get me to get into scrapping digitally, I don't know what is. I am so inspired. Gonna give it a go!

wow, thank you melissa!

I buy anything you design, but this kit especially got to me! I seriously love it. Great job 🙂

wow! congrats on the new gig! Sounds perfect for you. And I'm definitely grabbing the sb kit. It's gorgeous!

Jenna and Cathy – thank you both so much. 🙂

Great kit – wondering where the green stitched frame is? Another kit?

Hi Nancy, Thanks for the great feedback. Are you referring to the stitching and mat in Tali's layout? The stitches and the mat clipping mask can be found in the layered template (made by janet phillips) that's included in the kit. Let me know if this answers your question.

Oh – thanks so much for the quick response!

I've also been looking for a tutorial about how to change the color of elements in your kits. Can you point me to the right direction?

Nancy, I recommend this tutorial written my amanda (of taylormade designs). she has the BEST tutorials!
