Hey, you lovely things!
It’s Essie popping in with a new project to show you.
If you follow me anywhere else on the internet, you will almost certainly have noticed that I’ve recently realised one of my dearest held dreams, and brought home a Sphynx kitten.
She is bald, and she is beautiful, and I could not love her more. In fact, our whole family has fallen for her weird, wrinkly little self. And I obviously had to make a mini book about that.
I printed out a bunch of photos of her, making sure to get one or two with each member of the family.
Then I brought them all together to tell the stories of her relationship with each of us.
I used the Memory Keeper kit (yes, again – it’s my fave!), and just printed out some of the lighter coloured papers from the paper pack, and some of the embellishments. I recoloured and printed some of the labels from the Rainy Days element pack to match in with the papers, because I really love their particular shape.
I also made some cute tabs out of the patterned paper with my tab punch. With those embellishments, one roll of washi and a couple of stamps, I embellished the whole little book.
Ooh, and the funnest part of the whole thing is the little journaling pockets I made from the patterned paper – to see how I did it, and how I put the rest of the book together, you can watch the process video.
Have you got a pet that deserves their own little mini book full of love?
See you next month!
