Sometimes I stay caught up with my pocket page album. Most of the time not. I was all ready to start a new month and found a spread that I had just never completed WAY back in March. So that’s what I’m sharing with you all today.
Typically I’ll print out my photos once a month. Once that’s done I’ll slip them into pockets and leave one or two empty pockets as well. This way, when I get to that spread, I don’t have to move anything around. I can journal and find accent cards and just slip them in. On this spread I had done just that so it was just a matter of popping in the cards.
I dug into my digital file folder and found these cute cards from the Sunny Days collection. Perfect for the Florida trip I was documenting.
I had two spots to fill and I new that I would journal just a little bit so I picked one accent card and one card with some journaling space to print out.
Next was trimming them out and popping them in their pockets.
The photos from this spread aren’t chronological but they all reference our condo we stayed at. Because of this I felt that I could keep the journaling for this entire spread confined to one card.
After I journaled on my one card and slipped in my accent card I added a little embellishing in the form of a badge.
Tip // To keep the bulk down try including your thicker embellishments on top of the page protector.
Printing regularly and adding my photos into my pockets even if I don’t get around to the spread for a while is definitely a huge reason that this project has not become overwhelming to me.
