Project life, week 25 & 26.

Left side, week 25. I like the mix of people + still life/scenery shots. Lately, I’ve taken to snapping random photos of things in the girls rooms. The stack of books and toys, along with the giraffe shirt were taken in Audrey’s room. I look at these photos and think of how she’s loved animal print apparel since she was 2 years old and how great that coral color looks on her. I remember snapping a photo of the book stack right after she finished “cleaning” her room and said, “Mommy, it looks like An-Pan Man is flying!”

Looking at week 25 now I’m reminded of something Audrey said at dinner one night, “My three favorite things are reading, cleaning and playing with Madeline.”  That pretty much sums up that week and our right now perfectly. I think I need to incorporate that quote into this spread somehow.

Right side, Week 26. It’s starting to look like summer.

I managed to work 2 weeks into one spread, with a 6×12 insert (not shown because they are mostly photos are of family/friends and the entire flap would have been blurred out).

Right now I’m loving the simplicity of adding text to a photo before printing. And circles. Can’t get enough of circles. Here I used a 4×6 template from Pictures & Words no. 4.

This is a new fave. Circles and stripes (new set of templates coming to the shop later this week). And I printed this one at home. For those of you that have been asking about the photo print quality of the canon pixma mg6320, I think it’s amazing. Clear and crisp and no streaking or lines.
