I’m a big fan of grids/collages – it’s clean + simple and such easy way to pull together a collection of photos. Press Plate no. 38 is an 8.5×11 collage template with 12 photo spots perfect for year/month in review type layouts – baby’s 1st year, July at a glance, weekend trip, etc.

This template works well for digital and hybrid projects. I’ve been itching to experiment with printing on transparencies and had so much fun pulling together this “from where I stand” collage.

The grid and numbers layers were printed on transparency (I used 3M Universal Inkjet Transparency Film)* and laid it over the photo collage that was printed separately on plain white cardstock. I would have prefered photo paper but didn’t have any on hand. *Be sure to get the transparency type (inkjet or laserjet) that’s compatible with your home printer.

This will be incorporated into my project life album as an extra insert.

Pictures + Words No. 6 is a set of 4×6 photo templates (PSD files). I love the clean look of type paired with photography. This set of templates introduces an additional feature – customizable of patterned overlays.

Use these templates to create customized photo prints to add to your project life albums. I also love the simple look of these photo prints taped to the wall – the pattern overlays act as a “frame” for the photos.
