Happy Friday everyone! It’s Kelly here and I am thrilled to be writing my first post here on the Paislee Press blog and I am even more thrilled to introduce you to our new monthly feature: Picks from the Press Gallery! I am super excited about this because it gives us an opportunity to showcase some of the outstanding layouts and projects from the Paislee Press gallery and on instagram that have really caught our attention. These are a few of the ones that caught our eye this month:
The first layout is called Right Here by zee and was created using the from where I stand kit. I just love the composition of this layout and the way she incorporated several different colors and patterned papers while still maintaining the white space of the layout. The gorgeous black and white photo really stands out next to the pops of pink.
Next we have from the little things by ksharonk made with Curated no. 5. The wonderful thing about a quick page is that you can use it when you don’t want to over think a design – you just pop in your picture and you are free to focus on the story. And this layout is an absolutely gorgeous example of how using the right photo can send a quick page to the next level. I adore how the colors in the photos pop so boldly against the white background. The pink washi tape coordinates so beautifully with the colors in the photos also.
The next layout I would like to share with you is My Everything by jenny which was created using instants no. 2. By pairing the bold colored photo with the primarily white space quick page, jenny was able to create a layout where the photograph was truly the focal point. I love the pop of red from the guitar next to the pink word art also.
The next layout by celinenavarro was spotted on instagram. She used press plate no 37 to make a layout about the city where her grandparents grew up. It is filled with so many wonderfully interesting pictures and is simply gorgeous!
And finally we have some journaling cards shown to us on instagram by merilaion. She used quintessentials no. 3 and the you are loved journaling cards to print some cards for her project life. I just love seeing these gorgeous digital journaling cards printed out.
It is always so inspiring to see the different layouts and projects that are made with Paislee Press digital designs. We would love to see more! So we encourage you to share what you’ve created either in the Paislee Press gallery or on instagram using the hashtag #paisleepress. I wish you all a wonderfully creative weekend!
