The girls attended their first wedding last month and they were in awe. Auntie Jenny (the bride) looks like a real life princess, they said. Indeed she did. The wedding and the reception was held at The Library Courtyard and Cafe Pinot. It was an amazing venue and amazing late summer wedding. (If you’re in the Los Angeles area and looking for venues, this one is worth a look). Sigh. If I could do our wedding over again, there are a few things I would change. Just two things actually: the invitations and the father+daughter dance. I decided against doing the traditional father+daughter dance at the time because I didn’t want the extra attention. It’s something that I look back on with regret now. Ah well, live and learn. Maybe if Eric and I decide to have a 10 year anniversary bash, maybe then I’ll work that dance in.
How about you? What memories do you have of your wedding day?

The wedding looks amazing & the girls look adorable, Liz! My wedding was really simple & low key (just the way I wanted it), the only thing I would change would be the music … we didn’t have much money to spend & our music was provided by a local / mobile disco … who, only had a really limited selection of LP’s (yes, that’s how long ago it was!!!) and subsequently our first dance was to Bryan Adams, Everything I Do (I Do It For You) rather than the Platters singing Only You, which is what we actually wanted!
you all look so fabulous! 🙂
Love the family photo. I loved my wedding , thankfully we have a video to help me remember more of the reception. I remember most the photographs on the beach freezing cold but oh so happy.
Ooo I remember peeking in at that restaurant when we wandered through the library last December, so pretty! Good to know they do events, it’s so lovely there. 🙂 Glad the girls had fun!
