It’s a little bit of this and a little bit of that kind of week and I couldn’t be more content. Right now I’m staring at the ceiling (it’s the only clutter free zone in my office at the moment!), thinking about how I’ve been wanting to paint this one wall (yeah, that orangey brown one you see in the picture) in my office for over a year now. That’s happening soon. I’m also working on project life, new products for my shop and organizing my closet again.
Also, I’ve gotten a lot of questions recently about whether the Mini Masterpieces photobook style I created for Shutterfly will be available for purchase in my shop. The answer is yes…and no. I will be putting up an layered templates kit in my shop, but it won’t the exact same album as the one currently offered at Shutterfly. Some of the layout designs will be different, some of the elements will be different and you’ll have a lot more customizable options with the layered template album (ie., the ability to change the colors of the frames, doodles, etc.) and I’m happy to announce that it will be available in my shop tomorrow.
Yeah!!! The release of Gallery Album No. 2 arrives on my birthday!!! Love your layouts and now I have a way of creating photos and artwork created by my lovely toddlers at the same time!!! So thrilled.
i love all your designs!! question…is it possible to resize the templates to fit different size books? i typically make my books through mypublisher & their deluxe book is 11.5″ x 15″ thanks!!!
Yes, you can definitely do that, just don’t size up. 🙂
hmmm… just don’t size up? i’m lost 🙂
Don’t enlarge/increase the size of the elements included in the layered templates. With that being said, you CAN decrease the size of the elements and/or move them around without compromising the print quality.
ahhh…i see 🙂 thanks so much!!
Yes, soooo happy. I was thinking this weekend that I probably have to make the album at Shutterfly beacuse I loved it so much – I guess where I will go to shop tomorrow :)– or if I am lucky that is today because of the timezone.
I adore everything you do!!
Including your closet!! I am considering ordering linen boxes from the container store – is that where you got yours? And if you don’t mind me asking… which size did you order and do you like them??
Thanks so much!!
A.
Yes, Alexander! Here’s the link to the ones I have: http://www.containerstore.com/shop/closet/storageBoxes?productId=10029672&N=72586
I LOVE them. I held off on getting them for years because they are pricey but it’s turned out to be one of the best investments. At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, it’s changed the way I get ready in the morning. I used to store sweaters and other wool tops in a dresser and I would run back and forth between the closet and the dresser when I was getting ready. Now that everything is in the closet, I don’t have to go back and forth and deciding what to wear is easier because everything is right in front of me.
The magnetic closure is awesome – easy to open and shuts tight so I don’t have to worry about moths sneaking in.
I meant to type Alexandra. 🙂
Thanks so much for your reply on this… now I’m completely sold on the linen boxes. Can’t wait to measure my closet and submit my order.
And… I totally understand how a few key things can make your life run more smoothly… and who wouldn’t love that??!!
Also… oddly enough, I didn’t even notice the ‘Alexander’!!
Thanks again!!
hugs,
A.
I am sooo excited for this release. I scanned/photographed all my kids artwork yesterday and was going to upload them to Shutterfly but was concerned I wouldn’t have enough to fill a book – now this is perfect – I can do it as I go. Thank you!
