I’m ready for a little break from deadlines, a little bit more quiet, room to breath.

So I totally have this hate-hate relationship with writing.  I hate it, and I hate that I hate it. I’ve been reading Tina’s (aka lifelovepaper) weekly Currents posts for quite awhile now. I love how she uses a list style approach to document her “right now” – random things like what she’s reading/eating/listening to – to pretty much anything that pops in your mind at that moment.  It’s a simple, pressure-free approach to writing that really appeals to me.

You can see Tina’s Currents series HERE.

I’m loving your work. And wondering if you’ll share your full December Daily when it’s finished? I’m still three days shy of completing my own. Happy list making!

I’m in the same boat as you – still have 3 days to go! Once it’s done I will definitely share the pages here. Thanks so much for your kind words.

I hate writing, too! But I want to tell a story. This list idea is great!
And I love your style.
Mahalos!

Loving your dresser…;)

This list is such a great idea! I haven’t updated my blog in months (since having my twins). This will be a quick way to get in a quick post!

I’ve been following your blog for a little while now. I really love your PL album! I would love to make one of my girls’ first year. I was wondering what kind of printer you use for your photos and scrapbooking. Do you print your own photos on an inkjet printer or do have them actually developed at a photo places? Thanks!

If you do decide to go the home-made bedskirt route, use a sheet set for the fabric. Put the fitted sheet on the box spring and mark-up where it meets the edges to sew on the skirts drop. This way, when changing your sheets you don’t have that “shift” to deal with AND if the skirt comes up a bit everything is covered. Use the flat sheet to make the drop… easy peasy lemon squeezy and CHEAPER too!

Love the current/list idea, must try it too. And, way cool and lovely dresser!!

awe…thanks for the shout out Liz! I once contemplated on making my own bedskirt but the thought of drowning in all the fabric was way to much for me. Luckily I found one I like at Target that wasn’t all frilly. 🙂
