I love that something as simple as balloons can provide hours of entertainment for my 2 year old. In a way I suppose they are appealing to the inner child in me as well because I can’t seem to stop scrapbooking the balloon photos. Here are two different takes on the same set of photos.
CLEAN AND SIMPLE (for maddie’s birthday photobook)
LAYERED AND WORN (for the digital scrapbook pages photobook – to be printed at the end of the year)
supplies used in the above layout: everything from HELLO, Love Digital Kit by paislee press (coming out this wednesday, June 29th, with exclusive savings for presslist subscribers. If you’re not on the mailing list, sign up HERE).
I’m really excited about the new kit and can’t wait to get it in the shop! Maddie’s birthday party was the inspiration for it – a colorful and happy kit filled with sentiments of good cheer and good old fashioned fun.
Oh my, I absolutely love it!!!! Can’t wait for the new kit!!
l♥ve. l♥ve. l♥ve!
so adorable!
This looks amazing, Liz! Looking at the two pages together has given me a great idea. It would be kind of cool to intermingle “traditional” scrap pages and storyboards throughout a book. And it would be way faster than scrapping every single moment. Maybe I will get caught up after all!
i’ve been waiting for something new for awhile! looks like it was worth the wait! im so excited for wednesday now. you always come up with amazing kits 🙂
Oh my! Both of them are so beautiful!!! I can’t wait to see the kit! 🙂
I love these pages! Your clean style is awesome – it looks so effortless but as someone who tries to mimic that style I know that it isn’t!
I have a question about those embellishments and text that you put way down at the bottom of the page. How do you ensure that those things don’t get cut off when your pages are printed (either individually or in a photobook)? I had thought that there was some kind of minimum margin amount that you needed to keep to avoid this kind of thing. (Ditto for the text in the upper left corner!)
so in love with that page! gotta get it cuz we just celebrated zara’s 2nd birthday!
