There’s a sort of nervous tension at the start of the week. I’m not a huge fan of that. I used to blame it on you, mondays. Until I realized it wasn’t you. It was me all along. I expected stress and chaos on mondays and inevitably, without fail, it would ensue.
Perspective is such a powerful thing. Somewhere between the time I chose LESS to be my one little word up to now, my perspective shifted from, “OMG this is so stressful, why is this happening, not again,” to “It’s going to be OK.” How this shift finally happened, I don’t know exactly. All I know is that it is a process that’s still in progress and that it started with a desire to have less stress.
So mondays? I was wrong about you, you’re actually kind of cool.
On to other cool news.

Oh, Liz… you're so right! I just had a yucky Monday and it was all me. I blame the terrible storms and my bad dreams last night that set me on the "Grumpy Gertrude" course today.
