It is officially Week 2 of our month long designer spotlight challenge at Oscraps. Judging by the amount of pages that have been filling up the gallery, we suspect that many of you have recalled enough conversations pieces and stories to fill an entire book.
I have been keeping a log of audrey-isms, everything from her very first word to conversations we’ve had with her, for exactly this reason. Going into this challenge, I thought a book of tens (her first ten words, her top ten funny lines, ten quintessential “audrey” sayings) would be a quick and easy approach. But as I started working on the album I realized that (1) I didn’t have the exact first ten words documented and (2) I’ve recorded dozens of funny Audrey sayings, how could I possibly narrow it down to just ten?
In the end I shelved the book of tens approach because I couldn’t fit all the content neatly into categories of ten. Peppermint, on the other hand, worked some serious magic with it. Her album theme is A Decade of Nicholas-isms. It is made of awesomeness, you must go check it out.
BOOK OF AUDREY-ISMS
My album is near completion but not quite finished yet. So far, I’ve got 74 pages with the content organized into 3 chapters. Here are a few sample pages from each chapter.
I’m contemplating adding a Chapter 4 (things she says to her little sister), then it’s on to the title page and album covers. Will post the entire album once I get this wrapped up, hopefully within the next few days.
