The last weekend of January was action packed around here.
First, my nephew arrived early saturday morning. How sweet is he?

In other news, lots of industry folks were in town for the CHA Show and I got to meet two of them!
This is Steph from The Daily Digi. I’ve had the honor of working with her on several projects over the past year and a half and it was awesome to finally get to meet her in person. Steph is as fun and vibrant in person as she is online. She’s also way taller than I had expected, though I hadn’t even realized that in my mind I had attached a certain height to her until I saw her in person and the first thing that popped into my head was, wow, she’s TALL.
I also got to meet scrapbooking extraordinaire, graphic designer and teacher of crafty things Kelly Purkey. I have long admired her work, she’s got such a way with color and type. I also enjoy reading about her adventures as a twenty-something living in new york. And I want her wardrobe, she always puts together the cutest outfits.

Your nephew is a darling and I love that polka dot blanket and sheet, gorgeous. Isn't it great when you finally get to meet people, I had to smile because I always form a vision in my mind of what I think someone looks like and nearly every time it is wrong LOL.
