It never quite feels like a new year is upon us until I hang up a new calendar.
This year I decided to go big for our 2011 calendar – 16×20 poster size big. I used the month stamps from my DIY 2011 Calendar Kit, but instead of printing each month on individual 4×6 cards, I arranged them all to print on one canvas.

The print looked fine as it was, but I decided to go an extra step and framed it (using the Ribba frame from Ikea).
The poster size layered template calendar will be available for purchase in my shop this weekend. If you already have the DIY 2011 Calendar Kit, you can create your own poster sized calendar with it, you just have to decrease the size of the photo clipping masks so that all twelve months fit on the canvas, and use the alignment tools to line things up. I love this poster sized calendar. I used the smaller 2011 calendars at Christmas this year.I did 4 X 6
calendars of a family get-together this past summer and gave everyone a full set. They are so cool. I would love to get the poster sized template. Thanks Liz!
