Birthday party deco using digital elements

Hello again, Lucie here with yet another way to use Liz’s digital elements to decorate your house, this time a birthday party.

So, I fell in love with that little imperfect (yet so perfect) rainbow from the Aloha tropical kit. My son’s  birthday party was coming up and the theme – unicorns and rainbows – was just calling for this little rainbow.

First I made my own wrapping paper, using basic white paper and cutout rainbows. In illustrator I opened a 4×6 canvas and filled it up with the rainbow elements, then printed it out on a velum paper. Since I don’t own a silhouette cutter, I had to cut all elements by hand and stick it to the paper (after I wrapped the present).

I’ve also used the rainbow for a little framed picture, just added a quote from the birthday collection.

For wall decoration I printed a “happy birthday” word art on a velum paper, cut it into the shape and size of the metal circle and stick it on the back side. Simple, but I like the result.

Thank you for reading and see you in a month.

Lucie
