New: Document Your December 2013

paislee-DYD2013-0213

I can hardly believe that the holiday season is just around the corner. I’m excited though! I’m one of those people (much to my husband’s dismay) that can start listening to holiday music as soon as Halloween costumes are put away. I’ve got 4 new products to help kick off your holiday documenting season. All are 20% OFF thru November 17, 2013. There’s also a special Presslist subscibers offer – save an additional 15% off new releases – so be on the lookout for the newsletter that went out last night!

First up, a set of December/Holiday themed journaling cards, ideal for both pocket page and mini album projects.

Second is a set of Christmas themed journal cards.

Third, a set of Cutting Files perfect for 6×8 mini album projects. Not a hybrid scrapbooker? These would be great as masks and embellishments on digital layouts!

And lastly (my personal favorite), a set of 6×8 designs perfect for buildling a custom Document Your December/December Daily album.

This is not just your standard photo templates set, it’s so much more! The templates are a mix of photo masks, pattern overlays, hand drawn motifs and wordart (that can be used as elements to create titles or used as photo overlays). You can easily customize patterns to create your own unique backgrounds to suit your project needs.

I experimented with printing one of the pattern overlays on transparency and I love the way it turned out!

There’s more! The kit also includes 13 background papers (6×8, JPG files) and a set of 4 read to print PDF’s.

ACK!!! I was just thrilled about the journaling cards you posted were coming last night but then to see ALL of this AWESOMENESS!!! This is so much better than I ever imagined! I want so bad to do December Daily but I can’t afford the Studio Calico Kit. You have made it possible for me to do DD the way I would like to do it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I will keep an eye for the newsletter. I signed up last night. Wheeeeee!!! So excited!!!

Warmly,

Elizabeth

So thrilled you like it Eizabeth, you just made my day!! Let me know if the newsletter didn’t get to you. I’m happy to forward it along!

I agree with Elizabeth. I had just written down b, w and gold for my Christmas pages and then I see your journaling cards! LOVE them. LOVE all of it:)

Totally dig the color scheme you chose for your Christmas pages. 🙂 And thank you so much for your kind words! xo, Liz

These are gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. Just curious, will you be creating a holiday mosaic card template again this year? I bought and used it last year and loved it!

Thanks so much Annette! I didn’t have plans to release new holiday card designs but I can definitely put it on my to-do list!

I absolutely love these-bought and already printed out. Can’t wait for December!

Thank you so much Melanie! I cannot wait to see your DD album!

Oh Liz, you are absolutely amazing.
Ronnie xo

I have to agree with Ronnie 🙂 The designs are beautiful. Love the calligraphy, black and white, hand-drawn motifs. Just so beautiful and simple. Pulled the trigger last night and bought them with my Presslist discount. After a holiday season without Nick last year (he was deployed), we have been gearing up and celebrating since Halloween! I can’t wait to put this together. Thanks, Liz 🙂

Oh Liz, I bought a set, but I was wondering how I could make the gold shine. It comes out like a lumpy yellow from my printer. 🙁

Sherlyn, I’m not Liz but I do know a bit about color calibration.
Your printer interpret the color information different than it was meant to be.

It can be fixed, depending on what software you use and the paper that you use for printing. Many paper companies have color matching files that go with their paper on their website. I use Red River and they have color configuration style files for every kind of paper they sell.

Also do you use a Mac or PC? I totally know nothing about pcs 🙂

If you don’t want to go through the hassle you can print, especially the gold ones at Persicknity. That’s what I did. They looked fine from my printer but I wanted the extra shine and sparkle
