9/52, a year of light

paislee-LIGHT-1267-3

A lot of magic happens around the kitchen table. It’s where we eat, share how our day went, sort our bills and read the paper. It’s where the girls do their homework and make art. This morning Audrey made a camera out of paper, glue and paint. There was no prompting from us and no asking for help on her end. She did it all on her own. I love that she felt inspired to do something and went for it. I love the way her face lights up when she’s in creating mode.

The details she included are my favorite.  There’s even details on the inside.

What creative projects are you working on right now?

……….

My one little word for 2013 is light. I’ve committed to sharing a photo every week related to my journey with light.

So cute! I just finished up a quilt block and am procrastinating on project life 🙂 That’s what I’ve got going on today.

A quilt! I’d love to make one…one of these days. How long did it take you? 🙂 I’ve got some catching up to do with project life as well.

Oh my goodness that’s so cute! My 13 year old daughter made 3D initials for her art assignment which made me burst with pride:) Me? I’m working on my OLW task for March:)

Love. I especially love that she made her camera a Nikon, as I am Nikon girl myself 🙂

That is awesome. I love the battery pack! And she has excellent taste. 😉
