july, you were a lovely surprise

Seriously. You were awesome. Didn’t think you would be, especially mid month when I was in the midst of a nasty creative funk but the fog has cleared (hallelujah!) and now (after a bit of reflection) all I can say is July, you proved me wrong.

Loved our weekend excursions this month – visiting the Huntington, the Getty and Disneyland.

Love feeling inspired to organize and decorate my work space. Right now I can’t get enough of the classic black & white combo. Getting lots of interior design inspiration from Nina Holst’s gorgeous blog. (Photo left: marquee letter recently purchased via etsy. Photo right: gallery wall at a jcrew store.)

LOVED meeting these two amazing ladies! Finally finally, after all these years of exchanging emails, daily conversations via IM and collaborating on lots of design projects together I finally got to meet Peppermint (of One Little Bird).  And that’s not all, I also got to meet Christine (Fabulous Adventures of Listgirl) – I’ve been following her blog for quite some time now so it was AWESOME to see her in person (and see her gorgeous craft studio)!

Finally started tackling this project that’s been on my to-do list for years.

Life is full. Things are crazy chaotic, and for once, I’m going with the flow and embracing the madness. And I’m happy. (What in the world’s gotten into me?)

Wow your work space looks great :)..
I really really love the font you used for ‘Love’. Can you tell me what font you used?

Thanks Ilss! The cursive words are my handwriting not a font.

Oh my goodness, your girls are adorable! Love the first picture!! I’ve been going through photos from my college days (finally) and it feels so good to get that project going. 🙂

Hooray for getting started on projects!

I also love the font you used for “love” and “loving”. Could you tell us where to get it?

It’s my handwriting. I can work on turning them into wordart stamps!

That would be “lovely” !)

Yes, yes, I second that! 🙂

Had a lot of fun meeting you! So glad you were able to drive down. The photos of your girls together are always so cute. It’s awesome they like to hug each other, LOL. Yay for creativity coming back! The waiting for it to come back is the worst!

What you don’t see is that they like bickering almost as much as they like hugging. HAHA.

That Peppermint chick looks AWESOME.

She is pretty awesome but don’t tell her you said so, her ego is already at an unruly size.

Oh nothing better than embracing the madness… you must go with the flow or else you’ll go insane. Happy to see this month was full of surprises.

In love with the photos of your girls, Liz.
