December Daily® 2011 (Part 2 of 2)

Remember the December Daily Album I blogged about back in February? I finally got around to wrapping it up this week. It came together so quickly I’m wondering now why I put it off for so long.  All the photos were already printed and in the album – all I needed to do was add journaling inserts.  And really the only “journaling” I needed to do was to put together a list of things about Audrey at age 4. Dread writing much? I drag my feet when it comes to the writing portion of every project and I need to get better about it, I just don’t know how yet.

Day 18 and 19 We threw a birthday party for Audrey on the Saturday leading up to her birthday. She said it was the best day ever. The right page features Madeline and her first love (ice cream) I couldn’t decide which photo I liked best so I used them all.

Day 20 Holiday details: tree and ornaments.

Day 21 Holiday details: gift wrapping. This year I was into using doillies and thread and kraft wrapping paper.

Day 22 Last minute holiday shopping.

Day 23  Audrey’s 4th birthday.

Day 24 Christmas eve

Day 25 Christmas Day

On the back side I included photos of Madeline that were taken on Christmas afternoon.

It ends sort of abruptly. I’m ok with that for now because I want to be able to take this album off the in progress shelf. When (if at all) I figure out what to do for the closing page I’ll add it then.  For now I’m happy to with it as is.

Supplies I used.

The first half of my december daily album can be found here.  To learn more about December Daily, visit Ali Edward’s site.

Hi Liz,

I like your approach!

I was just wondering, how did you handle the pictures? Did you just punch the pictures directly and include them in the album or did you attach the picture to paper or chipboard first before punching?

Hi,
I was wondering how you got your photos printed! Do you have your own photo printer? I love the matte-d style for your pictures!

Nina – got my photos printed at costco.com (The matte look is the lustre finish).
