I’ve been printing out lots of photos for my project life album, along with extras to give to family and friends. It’s always more fun to give something that’s nicely packaged so this afternoon I decided to embellish some envelopes.
First, I had to dust off a much neglected rubber stamps collection. I am amazed that the versamark black ink pad I purchased back in 2006 (maybe 2005?) still works. The colorbox stamp pads and the smash date stamp are new.
Finally tried out these camera stamps that I designed for purple onion designs sometime last year. Ended up using the mini camera from the 3 cameras set. Stamped, cut them out and adhered to the envelope with a pop dot. The “photo enclosed” type was printed prior to adhering the camera.
I’d forgotten how much I love using stamps. What crafty projects are you working on this weekend?

What a cute idea! I love giving away pics and just love the extra touch this adds!
Thanks Marie!
And you were so very good at using them!

Aw, thank you so so so much Michele! So honored to get a comment from you!
So cute, Liz!
That is too cute!
I always buy stamps…and then my kids get them and they have a blast – but then they get scattered and I never have time to use them myself – but I LOVE these and I love Purple Onion – and perhaps I should put a project into our school day…
Your project is DARLING 🙂
