I am really thrilled with the way the album turned out. In the end, I didn’t pin down one most meaningful moment. I got something more. It surprised me how quickly our daily routines changed over the course of the year. I’d forgotten how leisurely and quiet our mornings were at the beginning of the year when Audrey and I would start the morning together in the kitchen, her eating breakfast and watching sesame street while I drank coffee and went through emails, both of us taking our time waking up and getting acclimated to the day. Shortly after that, Madeline dropped her morning nap and our am routine changed. Then Madeline started crawling, then walking, and then Audrey started school, and each time our am routine changed, and changed, and changed again.

Love this! I also like how you talk about capturing random minutes–it's the tiny moments in time that are the most meaningful!
