work in progress

I’ve been collecting pieces for Audrey’s room.

Wooden letters from Pottery Barn Kids. They were on sale and shipping was free. Win win.

Fabric that I picked up a few weeks ago. Planning on making a bed skirt and pillow cases for her big girl bed.

fabric sources: top: Joanna Figueroa’s Whimsy line, middle: cosmo cricket, bottom: Sandi Henderson’s Meadowsweet line

Frames for Art (or photos). Not sure what I want in the frames yet.

What’s in the frame right now? Little jars that I sketched.

I showed it to Eric and his reaction was, “I don’t get it.”

They’re wishing jars, honey.

My explanation was met with a blank look. Then mercifully, Audrey came to my rescue and said, “It’s A for Audrey! And that’s peanut butter. And that’s jelly. So to make sandwich for meeee!”

Right. I meant pb & j jars.

I’m excited to get her room decorating project under way. Also excited about a new kit that’s coming out this friday. Tune in tomorrow for a sneak peek and a giveaway.

OMG, iDie – I've been in love with that middle fabric forEVER. I've been drooling over it on the WarmBiscuit site.

Love it that Audrey stepped in to explain it all to Eric. Duh, Eric.

I LOVE those colors!! I really like the "wishing jars." So cute!

Wow–total fabric envy; gorgeous choices. And I think your jar print is charming; boys never understand such things: )

ahDORE your artwork! how beautiful. Could you be more talented in more areas?

What is this warm biscuit site you speak of peppermint. I'm off to check it out now.

Thank you for the ♡ guys. Seriously, you are too good to me.

I also just love the fabric and the letters and I imagine my husband showing him the wishing jars, he wouldn't understand either. *lol* This is quite a girl thing and I – a 100% girl – just love them. Wish I had wishing jars. 😉

I was laughing out loud at your DD's comment to her daddy and what the jars meant to her…too CUTE!

What a cute story and beautiful items for your little girl's room. Do you remember the collection and/or designer of the fabric you purchased? I am getting started on sewing and would love to use some of that fabric in a project. Thanks:)
