a ta-da moment

Audrey: Mama, I have a surprise for you. Come with me.

She grabs hold of my finger and leads me to the living room.

Audrey: Ta-da!

I look to the direction she is pointing and see two cinnabon rolls (still in the boxes) carefully arranged on the coffee table.

Audrey: It’s for you Mama.

She flashes me a winning smile.

Photo taken 15 minutes before the ta-da moment. The Cinnabon bag in the background makes me smile.

We went to the mall this afternoon and came home with cinnabons because it’s her daddy’s favorite. I entrusted her with the important duty of surprising her daddy with the cinnabon bag. She did a great job, especially with the surprise part.

I can’t stop thinking about audrey’s ta-da moment. I don’t quite understand why that is. Hopefully it will become clear to me soon. For now I just want to document this moment while it’s still fresh in my mind.

Do you file moments away to reference later on?

Oh, oh, oh. In other exciting news, Audrey spelled her name for the first time tonight!

This is sweet!!!

She is adorable and this made me smile this morning 🙂

Oh these moments are just priceless, aren't they?!!! So sweet and I too file away certain happenings or sayings to later figure out and then I have a "ta da" moment!! LOL!! Cute pic too, is she almost 3?

That is precious! I file away those type of memories all the time. This weekend my 2 year old told me he was sick and tired and I blogged about it so I could figure out what to do with it later. 🙂 It was too funny to not find a way to incorporate it into a page!

Thanks for the smile this morning!

Awww, that's so cute! My son blabs surprises to anyone who'll listen. LOL Yay on spelling her name!!

sorry – all I read was cinnabons… 🙂
I tried these when I was in the states a few years ago and will never forget them. Yummo!
