December starts tomorrow. Really? Sheeeeeesh, where has the time gone? I’m not ready to fully embrace the holidays just yet. But I am enjoying the holiday music that is already blaring everywhere I go. I am looking forward to getting a tree next weekend, and I am really looking forward to taking Shimelle’s Journal Your Christmas Class. I signed up for this class a few weeks ago because, well, I want to document our holidays. Writing is one of my biggest weakness and for a long time I dealt with it by simply keeping my words out of my layouts. But I don’t want to censor myself anymore. I want my thoughts to be a part of the pages that I create. I want to be able to write confidently. I want to find my writing voice. So that is why I signed up for this class. But this workshop is so much more than just a journaling class. It’s filled with creative prompts, photography tips, and even a digital kit (created by Shimelle)…all designed to help us create a meaningful album.
