is anyone still doing project 365?

I’m still at it. Shocker, right? I honestly did not think I would last as long as I have. But here we are, in mid-October and I’m still taking photos. With only 2 1/2 months left this year, I think I might actually make it to the end.

And perhaps even more shocking, I’ve actually started scrapping + working on the album design. I’m excited because this album is coming together more quickly than any album I’ve ever worked on! Here are a few of the pages (using frames + clipping masks that will be available in my shop tomorrow):

I’m going to have these pages printed through blurb again so I’m sticking with the same photo + text approach that I used for Maddie’s book, with the addition of the frames. I like that the frames are subtle and add just a little bit of interest without taking away from the photos. And this simple design approach is going to allow me to concentrate on the part of the layout that always stumps me: the journaling. I dread writing SO MUCH, try to avoid it as much as possible because I’m so bad at it!!! But I can’t very well expect to get better if I don’t practice right? So practice I will and maybe one day I will find my writing voice. Wouldn’t that me something? 🙂 By the way, if you’re like me and struggle with journaling, then you should take a look at these journaling tips written by ct member Becky (and there’s a free template at the end of the post for you, so snag it while you’re there!

If you liked the way the frames look in the pages I posted above, wait till you see the layouts that my creative team made with them! They will be posted here tomorrow and I’m hosting another giveaway so be sure to stop by for your chance to win a set of these frames!

I adore your beautiful photography, photo processing and deliciously clean pages. They are all SO inspirational! I wondered if you'd ever revealed your processing secrets? Are you using any specific lightroom presets or photoshop actions, is every photo processed differently?

WHAOU Liz always great project, a page put only sober, who put value in the photo.
Personally I go on my project yesterday, after more than 8h of sorting and editing images (including your AC I found a preset that softened … I like the record) I'm only 9th day of the miss. (she's almost 6 month) but I think that in the end I do not regret it.

What Scripture you used? All pages are marked with the date or only when you change the date?

I love your beautiful and clean pages and wonder how you find something new to picture everyday! I didn't even last a month into the project. Maybe give it another try next year. Any tipps?

wouhaaaa, this is simply beautifull Liz, I can't wait tomorrow !!!

I am also hanging in with the 365 project, and I am loving it 🙂 it is so much fun to see what I have been doing week by week and day by day.

And I always loves to come and look at your photos, they are just so wonderful.

Oh, Liz, it's another stunner! I love the frames!

Liz you are not alone. I hate to journaling. I wish I was born with that talent, but it just doesn't come natural to me. Like you, I'm working on it, hoping to improve. Thanks for the link to the journaling tips. Your Album is going to be beautiful 🙂

I'm still doing my P365, and still have all my photos from last year too. I think you've just inspired me as to how to put my books together! You rock Liz!! 🙂

i'm warming up the debit card right now! I need to restart a 365- i completed 2008 but failed 2009. I plan to start again on the first day of December and these frames are super inspiring.

Somehow I'm still sticking with it… 🙂 Would love to use this when I print at the end of the year!

Oh… just love those frames, must go get them!!

Awesome work! I love it!

I love your frames – if I didn't have half of my 365 scrapped already – I would TOTALLY do this approach – however, next year our 365 is "People we admire and WHY" a different portrait every day…of friends, family, etc… and this would be BEAUTIFUL for that!! Journaling is my strong suit, it's the composure and keeping the page clean and simple that I have trouble with 😀

these are AMAZING!! i, too would love to know what presets or actions you do to your photos to give them that look. wow. and your pages are so timeless. love them!! also – what font did you use? your work always inspires me!

such a wonderful book you will have.

Do you make one page for each day ? which means severeal books I guess 🙂
